He was awarded the prestigious British Association of Urological Surgeons Travelling Fellowship Grant, where he travelled to Columbia University Medical Centre in New York City and to the city of Agra in India at the Centre for Minimally-Invasive Endourology, Global Rainbow Hospital, to gain a broader perspective on the medical and surgical management of advanced kidney stone disease.
